Hello tk,

Just happen to visit this site on some info on Wish and saw your mail. Well, this frequency converter is a very common item. I'm staying in Bandar Baru Bangi and the two shops I visited got it. Just visit any shop dealing with car audio video system and tell them and I'm sure they have it.

Whoever concerned

For me, its just to appreciate the breed. Its doing marvelous. Toyota Wish is the car for the family people, the singles, Business people and long distance travelers. It has not disappointed me. Not at any occasion. I recommend it. I just have one reservation, the bumpers are getting loose so fast

Hi Wan,
Just want to add on your comment on item.no3 the rear Aircon. Yes, you are right it is design as what you said but provided all the black glass window must install back as original. I had tried it before.

Besides that, where is the shop selling the frequency converter? May i know their phone number or address?

bought my wish in 2009. It was a 2005 1.8 J-SPec from Naza for RM111K. Till today NO REGRETS and even my super fussy hubby loves it!

Just some sharing with you guys/gals. There are essentially 3 models in Malaysia. Full spec is with front and back cameras and full steering controls. (Plus 4 disc brakes etc).
Mid specs (which is the one I got) has the same minus steering controls and front camera. Both have 2 arm rests. I eliminated the low spec by sticking my head into 50 or so wish around klang valley. ahhaha - low spec is single arm rest and some come without bodykit. (looks kinda sad actually)- i noticed that 2006-2007 models also have different fabric. Luckily i got the better one coz in my friend's 07 model the fabric looks really cheap and "furry"

NFL stands for new face lift. I realised some car dealers were trying to rip me off by doing 3 things: (or coz i was a lady, they thought i was either blind or stupid)
1. Telling me its a full spec ori from japan when the bloody skirtings etc were very obviously screwed on and re-sprayed at some ah chong bengkel in jalan ipoh ! (bend down and take a super close look at the screws holding the bodykit) Japanese originals have a "flat screw" / smooth rivets - sorry don't know how to explain. The local screws are "philip head" (like a cross) and they look "cacat"!

2. screwing with year of manufacture. You can go online and type in the VIN number - not easy to find but its possible. Look near the car door (usually 2nd row) there should be a sticker stating year of manufacture. Its suppose to be on the seat belt as well but i noticed many were missing. If either one of these are missing, be careful. Does not make sense for anybody to steal those things in the first place unless the dealer is trying to hide something.

3. Tell me its full spec by adding china made players that cost like 400 bucks vs the ori. Helloooo i am NOT blind looo!! i realise a lot of ppl dont understand the meaning of full spec and it seems like "fool spec"

Try and ask for some form of warranty - 6 months at least. Usually the car has been sitting there for at least 1 year and the rear suspensions would be shot or leaky or both. I was extremely lucky coz i had some warranty from naza - or else i would have to fork out 600 plus bucks for rear pieces.

power wise- i am a bit half hearted on this coz my wish is like me - temperamental. According to some mechanics, my wish is faster than the usual 1.8 and he usually feels that 1.8 is quite sluggish - so far with full load its bearable - once or 2x a year we do the overload which is 8 adults and 2 kids ! whooooaaa but it survived.
Which makes me think that even among the 1.8 there could be a variable in the engine performance. But, i'm juz a gal, what do i i know ??

rear aircon - okay i figured out a way for the back passengers to chant "air con please like 10 x in 20 seconds"
Put the shorties in the middle row and flip ur air vents all the way up so that the a/c can get to the back and it will circulate better. Forget the booster, its useless.

At the moment,my front suspension seems to be crying for some TLC - Knocking/ creaking noises BUT only when the car is warmed up sufficiently - 15-20 mins drive.
If anyone is still reading this, can pls. advise ? i don't wanna spend like 800 bucks and later find out its my bloody engine mounting or something like that... i would like to buy a pair of diamond earrings with my year end bonus instead of splashing it on my car !!

cheers and have a good one everybody :)

A superb overall mpv car.stream or civic would not compare to it.stream i dont want to talk.exterior design is out and space is also smaller.most importantly fuel consumption, wish is so much better.18cents for city drive(ron95).about civic is the sound proof is lousy as u can hear engine sound when exerlerate, fuel consumption also higher.space off course wish is better.so wish is definitely a very good mpv car to consider.
