Toyota - July Promotion

posted in Promotions |

Here’s another round of information that may come in handy to all Toyota lovers in Malaysia. A whole new month has begun and UMW Toyota has yet again come out with loads of goodies and great deals to make life that much easier when it comes to purchasing a brand new Toyota vehicle.

Apart from their usual low down-payment schemes from last month, currently they have decided to let you have an option on some fabulous freebies as well. This is the promotion for the month of July from UMW Toyota for the Malaysian market :

  • Vios - Low down-payment scheme (Rebate) RM4,500 OR Free SONY Bravia 40″ LCD TV (KLV40V300A)
  • Avanza 1.3 (Manual) - Low down-payment scheme (Rebate) RM2,888 OR Free Sharp Aquos Piano 32″ LCD TV (LC32PX5M)
  • Avanza 1.3 (Auto) & 1.5 - Low down-payment scheme (Rebate) RM1,500 OR Free Body-kit (worth RM1,850) OR Free SHARP Aquos Piano 32″ LCD TV (LC32PX5M)

Hope this information will help you with your budget calculations and finally assist you in the deciding factor, Happy Buying!

* UPDATE - 05/07/2007 *

UMW Toyota has included the Toyota Altis into this month’s promotion as well.

  • Altis - Low down-payment scheme (Rebate) RM5,000 OR Free SONY Bravia 40″ LCD TV (KLV40V300A)

I know most of you are jumping for joy on this deal at the moment BUT don’t be too happy just yet, as the information received says that, currently there are no Altis units in stock! The only way to get one in hand would be to go through all the branches in Malaysia and see who has one, and that’s if you’re lucky.

Apparently, the current production batch of Toyota Altis has been temporarily stopped. This is due to the fact that UMW Toyota is in the process of launching a face-lifted model of Altis come August ! Take note, this is only a face-lift model, it’s not the brand new version that we are all expecting to see. The plan is to assemble a Body-kit for the car ….. and that’s the face-lift !!

    Hi Jack,

    Thanks for joining us.

Unfortunately, UMW Toyota has not come out with a specific promo for the Toyota Altis for the month of July. But rest assured, when further details are made known to me I will add them here :)

    Hi Brusli.

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Basically, I would assume it’s not due to a problem of selling but rather a matter of marketing strategies. Currently, it’s become a trend amongst purchases to ask for a discount or some freebie of some sort. Marketing a product these days have become so competitive and with the right promotions, ultimately sales of a certain company can progress.

These has been proven on the Toyota front, as they have become the Worlds Number One taking it’s top notch spot from General Motors which they held for the last 76 years :)

Toyota Altis with an Extra Touch - AeroKit add ons, Leather seats, Audio Head Unit (1.8 only), Wing mirrors with Signal indicators. Not bad at all. But the price is slightly higher. Check out the Toyota website for details.

I think Toyota has cleared up the stock for VIOS. We just need to wait for 2 more months for the arrival of New VIOS.

I’ve just emailed the toyota personnel and according to them, there’s not more Vios stock. I was thinking of getting one but heck, guess have to wait for the new Vios arrival.

I wonder how the pricing would be?
Would it be more expensive then the current ones or same price?

    Thanks once again, guy’s.

Jack @ Ya, I just had a look at the new face-lifted model of the Altis, can’t say much about the upgrades though, they just seem to be so-so only, for an additional RM3,000. Can’t wait for the totally new Altis to come out next year.

Jack & Daniel @ You guy’s are partly right about this actually, apparently UMW still has some units of the current Vios still lurking around. I just did a check this afternoon with my sources and yes, there are a few, BUT maybe not for very long I guess :)

    Hi Lai,

    Thanks for joining us :)

It seems UMW Toyota is lacking some ideas on their strategies lately, I guess. This promotion is still ongoing until September end, given the fact that certain models have also been removed from their list of offers. You can catch the latest at my post related to September promos from them (UMW Toyota).

Hope this info, would help you decide.

saya berminat untuk menukar Proton Gen2 1.6 A tahun 2005 kepada Toyota Vios. Berapakah harga pasaran untuk Gen2 sekarang?

  13. 13 On July 6th, 2008, Nihal said:

    Hi Fairul,
