Good news for all Toyota car lovers in Malaysia, as UMW Toyota Motor is still running their Merdeka Meriah promotion for the month of August 2008. Owning a brand new Toyota vehicle is still not too late this month, as most of the offers are still on-going as mentioned in our July promotion campaign post, but, with the exception of one major change on one of their models. For those who missed out on the latest happenings around the Malaysian Toyota car market, July 1st, 2008 saw them (UMW Toyota Motor) launch a promotion campaign called Merdeka Meriah, where potential new buyers were given the opportunity to choose exciting deals based on attractive sales packages created for their selected Toyota models.

And as an added feature, the 2008 July - August promotion saw UMW Toyota Motor host a two month long campaign at all their Toyota showrooms as well as a three state road-show that’s filled with a carnival-like atmosphere named Karnival Merdeka Meriah. This weekend (August 8 - 10) will see them head over to Dataran Linear Park, Desa Tebrau in Johor Bahru. The carnival is scheduled to take place between 10am till 9pm on these dates.

Coming back to the question at hand with regards to the August Promotion, UMW Toyota Motor’s 2008 August Promotion will be ALMOST as per their July Promo list, due to the fact that there’s a promotion change with regards to their Yaris model. This will supersede their earlier promo for the said model as follows :

Yaris (G & S) : Low down-payment Rebate RM4,000

Remember, all promotion for orders collected from 1st - 31st August 2008 are only valid IF the orders are invoiced (registered and road tax is out) by 30th September, 2008.
