Finally it’s out, the replacement model that we’ve all heard rumours about, from Perodua Malaysia. I must say this model is simply ‘viva-ciously’ Viva.
How can you run away from a car that starts it’s price below RM30,000? All this while everyone was so eager to find out on how it will look like, well wait no more, alas we have the full details.
The new Perodua Viva, simply put, has combinations of exclusive design and practical spaciousness all loaded up into a convenient, compact and powerful package. Most of the Malaysians have enjoyed the smaller segment models from Perodua for more than a decade now, and it’s about time that a new breed evolve. Read the rest of this entry »

In my working career, life used to be about competition. Every other day customer’s would walk into the showrooms and compare prices. In reality this is what you are supposed to do, but one model that didn’t have that problem, of people comparing that much, was the Honda CRV.
When Honda launched it’s first CRV back in 1995, it was exactly what the market was waiting for. A stylish and compact urban SUV, Honda’s petite number quickly ran to the top of the sales charts. Now, in it’s third generation, the CRV offers the same great styling that made it such a winner, and takes it to the next level in terms of technology and equipment. Read the rest of this entry »

In Malaysia, we have a large number of SUV’s that compete to be No. 1. The battle is mostly among the top Japanese makes, like Toyota, Honda and Nissan. Currently the latest to hit the roads would be the all new Nissan X-Trail - 2007 model.
Even with their earlier edition, X-Trail was noted to be having a bigger share of the cake, since entry in 1993. Nissan X-Trail had commanded a 49% market share last year in the non-national 4×4 station wagon 2.0/2.5 litre (petrol) segment. With this popularity comes an all new sports utility vehicle that has been given a breath of fresh air in it’s interior as well as the exteriors. Read the rest of this entry »

The Volvo S40 has been given a ‘comprehensive’ external and internal redesign to enhance their dynamism, versatility and safety further. Despite the fact that it shares structure and also mechanical with the Mazda 3 and European version of the Ford Focus, the Volvo S40 is distinctly Scandinavian in design.
Taking a step closer to the all new S80 saloon design cues, the S40 is currently fitted with a reprofiled nose and chrome framed ‘egg-crate’ grille, complete with a 50 % larger Volvo badge - a clear indication of the Swedish carmaker’s bolder future design direction. Read the rest of this entry »

The Lexus badge was launched in December last year in Malaysia. Thus far it has brought in tremendous response, with their earlier launches ; LS 460L and GS 300. And the anticipation is that the newly launched Lexus RX 350 is expected to draw strong interest from luxury vehicle buyers. The all new Lexus RX 350 is the second generation RX, representing the pinnacle of their brands.

Apparently when Lexus 300 was introduced to the American market in 1998, it was the first ever SUV crossover, creating and defining an entirely new category of automobile. Nowadays it’s becoming a trendsetter around the globe. If you look into the statistics, SUV crossovers are one of the industry’s most popular and dynamic segments. Read the rest of this entry »

The Malaysian, New Toyota Camry was recently launched into the market, fully imported from Thailand. The New Model looks bolder, sophisticated and much more aggressive than its predecessors. This time around it doesn’t look that conservative in the eyes of the users. Currently its taking the bulk of the market share amongst it’s competitors.
I personally feel, the New Camry is a class above the rest. It combines both modern elements and high end finishing. After years of being in the Motor Industry, i can safely say that the New Camry is a vehicle that sets a new global standard. Read the rest of this entry »
