The windshield which is also known as the windscreen, is normally referred to the front window. Today’s modern technology windshields are usually made of laminated safety glass, which is a type of treated glass, consisting two curved sheets of glass in a typical situation, with a layer of plastic laminated between them for added safety. All these make up a windshield/windscreen and are glued into the window frame.
In our daily use, we understand that the windshields/windscreens mainly protect the vehicle’s occupants from wind, extremes of temperature, and flying debris such as dust, rocks/pebbles, and insects, as well as providing an aerodynamically formed window towards the front. UV Coating on these glasses are nowadays a common feature applied to screen out harmful ultraviolet light.

Welcome back to Part II of our update on the all New Toyota VIOS. And as promised, in this post we will see the different angles of the New Toyota VIOS based on its Comfort, Driving Performance and also Safety aspects. The hot topic currently in Malaysia, when is the launch of the all New VIOS going to take place? If my sources are right, as they are always, UMW Toyota would be doing a nationwide launch somewhere around the 19th of October 2007. That’s not too far away, so hang on to your buying plans until then, coz this is one stylish sedan worth waiting for. So I’ve decided to come up with a three part post, relating to the updates on the New VIOS and it’s overall model details. You can also read my earlier review on the New VIOS to catch pictures of the vehicle and it’s features.
In this Part I post, you will get to read subjects related to it’s Introduction, Exterior and also Interior details. Part II, will tackle areas relating to it’s Comfort, Driving Performance and also Safety aspects. And finally Part III, subjects relating to it’s Accessories, Specification and it’s Eco friendly features Read the rest of this entry »

To all Malaysian car lover’s take note, UMW Toyota has decided to increase their CBU Camry prices. This increase will take effect on Monday, 06/08/2007. Apparently no reasons pertaining to this increase were given given by my source there but I guess it has to do with some increase in production costs back in Thailand.
Sadly this information just came in at the 11th hour and doesn’t give much time for the buyer’s to decide . Anyhow, it still does make a difference for those already targeting to get their Camry from UMW Toyota, by placing an order, latest tomorrow - Sunday, 05/08/2007.
This increase will effect both the current Camry models that are being sold here in Malaysia. The Toyota Camry 2.0E and 2.0G will see an increase of RM2,051 and subsequently, the Camry 2.4V will increase by RM2,450 respectively.
